Who you are contracting with
This website and the counseling services offered on it are provided by Hazel Moon, trading as Crescent Moon Awakening Counseling Practice ("we", "us"). When you book or buy a session, your agreement is with Hazel Moon.
Accepting these terms
By using this website, booking a session, or making a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Our services
We offer virtual individual counseling sessions, a free introductory consultation, free written resources, and an AI-assisted guide that suggests topics for your consultation. Counseling is provided to clients located where Hazel is licensed to practice. The website, free resources and AI guide are for general information only and are not a substitute for therapy, diagnosis, or emergency care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or your local emergency number.
Eligibility and your account

- Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website or services, including by:
- using them for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;

- interfering with the site's security, including uploading malware, probing for weaknesses, or scraping;

Intellectual property
We own the website, its content, the downloadable guides, and the Crescent Moon Awakening name and logo. You may download and use the free guides for your own personal use, but may not resell or redistribute them.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.
Scheduling and cancellations
Individual sessions must be paid for before they are booked. Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule. A cancelled paid session can be rebooked at another time.
Service availability
We work to keep the website and virtual sessions running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Sessions may occasionally need to be rescheduled because of illness, emergencies or technical problems.
Suspension or termination
We may suspend or end your access to the website or services if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, fail to pay, or create a security or fraud risk, or where continuing would be clinically or ethically inappropriate. If this happens, we will help you find other appropriate support where possible.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and free resources are provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
