Who we are
Hazel Moon, trading as Crescent Moon Awakening Counseling Practice, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. That means we decide how and why your information is used.
What we collect and why
- Name, email and phone number: to book sessions, send you the free guides, and contact you about your appointments (to carry out our agreement with you).
- Sign-in details: to give you secure access to your client portal (agreement).
- Booking details and notes you add: to prepare for and provide your sessions (agreement).
- Notes Hazel shares and your private reflections: stored in your portal so you can revisit them (agreement). Your reflections are visible only to you.
- What you type into the consultation guide: sent to an AI service to generate suggestions. It is not saved to your record (our legitimate interest in helping you prepare).
- Purchase records: the order ID, amount and date, so we can show receipts and confirm paid sessions (agreement and legal obligation).
- Technical data such as IP address and device type: to keep the site secure and working (legitimate interest).
Official clinical records are kept separately in a dedicated, confidential records system, not on this website.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host the website, store data, send sign-in emails and run the AI guide, only so they can provide those services.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which handles the sale, payments, tax and invoicing for your orders.
- Professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers, when needed.
- Authorities, where the law requires it, or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others.
We never sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law and professional record-keeping rules. After that, it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop using it for a particular purpose. Email crescentmoonawaken@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls so each client can only see their own portal, and limited administrator access to protect your information.
Cookies
We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings; you will just need to sign in again.
